Capitalism is good because it promotes democracy, prosperity, liberty, free markets(variety of goods and services) and freedom. Freedom of speech is encouraged. Capitalist societies generally lead to more freedom and unequal distributions of wealth, power and control.

Communism is bad because it usually leads to totalitarian militant dictatorship ruled by a One Party. Poverty and slavery of the majority of the citizens living under fear and oppression. The ruling Communist Party control most of the wealth and power = corruption. Censorship and media is controlled by the ruling Party. Markets are controlled and there are limits on the availability of goods and services due to the inefficiency of goods and services produced by the State. Speaking out against the ruling Party may lead to imprisonment, hard labour or execution.
