Given the current path of the EU, that may well be a better option. I'm sure many of the countries in the EU would be happy to sign free trade agreements with eachother, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Eastern Europe, etc. Plus, we'd now be free to negotiate free trade deals with other countries around the world without the French fucking everything up.
