Theres no equality, if there was a PSN Plus on the 360 it would become another tier service, like a Platinum. You know Microsoft could stand to make a little more doing something like this on live. This way you pay like $100 for the whole package of being able to use your own online connection and top tier perks. :)

I agree they're just not remotely similar besides the fact they are subscription based services. I think Microsoft could perhaps offer something different to the current Gold fees and I wouldn't be surprised to see them learn from what Sony is offering next gen and have a two tier Live system. I can see a budget online gaming option and a premium option for bonus media and gaming goodies next gen. Sony have certainly showed there are other models that can be used to generate revenue.
