This post is just me boasting about how AMAZING PS Plus is.

Alright I literally got PS Plus for the first time 10 minutes ago (I've had a PS3 for almost 4 years). I NEVER realized how much content you could get for free. I paid 18$ for 3 months and have already gotten 80$ worth of content for FREE. I'm sorry but if you are an avid Playstation gamer and you don't have PS Plus then you should be ashamed of yourself (lol). Seriously though, does Xbox live offer anything else other than the ability to play online? I'm not trying to start a hate thread but I just simply can't understand why someone would choose Xbox Live over PSN. I'm so mad that I missed out on the Red Dead Redemption thing for September. Just got inFamous 2 so I guess I'll be fine =P.  Does anyone know if they offer these amazing games for free every month? Like for example I know in September it was Red Dead and I'm guessing this month it's inFamous. PS PLUS IS THE GREATEST.

I love you all. (yes homo)

Because XBL has proven to be superior over PSN.  Messages, inviting friends, party chats, avatars, etc is all that makes XBL better.  I'm not saying PSN is bad, but it's not as good as XBL either.  A good free service would be steam which does many things as good as XBL but better sometimes too.  Why I don't care about PSN+ is because the content that they have I simply do not want.  What I want I buy and I get it earlier when I buy it myself.  I want Journey, so I buy it, I'm not going to wait for PSN+ to offer it.

The bolded is just opion that the xbox guys have been trying to pass of as fact for years now. But considering the Vita has everything the xbox does, you really can't say live is better than PSN. Because it's not.  And if you would have had PSplus you could have got a discount on Journey day one.

Well I'm not really an xbox guy but pretty much everybody I know will choose XBL over PSN.  And yes part chats are that important.  As far as the Vita I can not say anything about it because I don't own it so maybe it is improved on there.  I don't care about getting a discount on Journey day 1 because I'm sure I'd be spending more on PSN+?  As I said before PSN titles are just not my thing.  For the people who do like them, great deal, just not for me.

Well I've been on both services and i can tell you first hand that one isn't really better than the other. There's good and bad on both, and yes the vita is an improvement over the ps3 because it has the ram to deal with extra stuff like cross game chat.  And with dual login ( i can be on both at the same time ) i can use cross game chat while playing a ps3 game. It's more than just discounts on PSN game, it's on just about everything in the store, including ps1 and ps2 games and ps3 games. It you paid your 50 for the year and buy a good amount off PSN it would pay for it's self, while giving you "free" games and beta access and full game trails, not to mention 1 gig of could saved data and auto downloads. It's well worth the money, hell I waste more than 50 a year on games that i end up not liking, I'm sure we've all done that.

haha You like psn more, I understand that haha  But you're not going to convince me PSN+ is worth it when as I've said now for the 3rd time, nothing on PSN is appealing to me.  What is appealing to me I already own. I don't mind paying for an online service whether it's for XBL or PSN because they have to pay for servers.  XBL is $5 a month which is not bad to me.  If PSN was the same way I'd say ok, I'll pay $5 a month for it.  It has been no secret this gen that people prefer (majority) XBL.  Why do you think multiplayer games sale so much better on Xbox?  If I chose any service I'd pick steam because it gives you great deals while being free on top of that.  I would choose XBL second because party chats, easy messaging, XBLA.  While yes this is my opinion and nothing more you can look into the activity and data of both. When PS4 comes around then most likely they won't have any differences and then that will change as of right now XBL has an edge, while not a big one it still has features the PS3 doesn't.  Vita is probably an excellent online service but as I said I can't say anything about as I don't own it.  I'm not going to say anything good or bad about something I don't own.  I would not doubt at all if PSN charges for online services next gen and I would justify it being worth it because they would be making profits.
