@ bold, I wish I had your crystal ball. Sure, it's probably not going to sell another 40k in Japan, but for example: Ys Seven sold the same amount as its first week sales in the rest of its life. Plus there's possibly American sales, which we haven't seen yet.

About multi-plat, not that I don't believe you because like I said - it's plausible - but do you have a source for it? Just saying things, however believable they might be, isn't substansive proof. Do you have a link to their last financial report in english? All I could find was these:

Also, I don't know if you've actually seen Ys Celceta, but... it's not going to be a massive investment above the cost of PSP games. A higher cost, sure, but if you just take a look at it:

It's really not one of the games that pushes the system to its limits and it seems highly unlikely that they'd have broken the bank developing it compared to PSP.
But, as always, I guess the only thing we can do is wait and see what the future brings.
