I tried out the demo for this game yesterday, and it plays differently than smash bros, even if it is a rip off. However, while it can be fun at first to try out the characters, and their supers, there are many problems with the game. The characters are unbalanced, and the stages are uninteresting. First of all, there's only like 6 characters in the beta, second of all, there are only 2 stages in the beta.
There is no demo, only a beta. This beta is months old. Omar already said that the UI and graphics in the game are outdated.

Actually, there is a demo. I tried it out yesterday at Walmart. It had Kratos, Jak, Big Daddy, and Parappa. Kratos was clearly overpowered, and Big Daddy is so slow he's virtually unplayable.

In the beta Parappa feels better than Kratos to me though, because his supers are easier to make full use of.

Parappa can get a maximum of 3 kills with his level 3. Kratos can easily get 4-6.
