Why I think Nintendo left out cross game chat

it's not about just wanting to complain.  it's a really important feature.  i hate that the ps3 doesn't have it ... it is soo much harder to get my friends together to actually play a game with just the in-system text support thusly relying on outside sources like email and phone numbers get everyone in the same game at the same time.  cross game chat is fundamental to why xbox is a much much better social experience than the ps3.

Don't worry, it will. Even the Vita has it.

Nintendo will regret this later. Achievements/Trophies are now an industry standard. You can't not have these things in a supposed "next-gen console".

Cross Game Chat isn't as important unless you are a social gamer, but still, it is 2012, Wii U is supposed to be a next-gen console. Get it together Nintendo.

i hope so.  i'm pretty sure it will but still, it better.

i just don't get how nintendo doesn't get it.  they talk and talk and talk about the social experience of gaming and how important it is.  how can they get it soo well when it comes to "in the living room" social and fail so badly when it comes to online.   facebook/twitter/xbl/ect.  it should be damn obvious that being social doesn't stop of the wall of my living room in this day and age.
