I wouldn't go that far but considering the original xbox had a seperate headset for voice communication only in 2001/2, (not sure about ps2) that's a pretty poor move by Nintendo, especially considering they have said they're going to try to bring back the core gamers... A casual gamer wouldn't use the headset anyway...


Not sure what your point is?  The main gripe was cross game chat not that there isn't a headset available considering there are already third party headsets for the Wii U.

Also, there was Wii Speak (Animal Crossing, MH3) and the headbanger headest on the Wii mainly used for FPS games.


I'm saying Ms did it 10 years ago wake up nintendo. As I said it sort of turns some hardcore players away too. Nintendo isn't catering for them. I'd love to in game or cross game chat on WiiU. I don't plan on buying one for atleast the first year of its release.
