While for all intents and purposes, the Wii U is Nintendo's next-gen console, what this article says sounds completely logical to me. If things do go south, then Nintendo will bounce back with a new system. Nintendo themselves even said that they had a new system ready if the original Wii failed in sales.
But do I think that such a thing will happen? I doubt it, since it seems that Nintendo is trying to put a lot of effort into the Wii U.
I don't know why people tell me to get a life. I'm a gamer, I have lots of lives!
