I thought I did comment in that thread.

I'm thinking 2x to 4x PS360.

Given that BLOPS2 is running 1080p60fps on Wii U's with a 2nd screen running... that says a lot to this being closer to 4x.

I'm bumping this bitch up!!

Chunky, now that we know BLOP2 won't in fact run at 1080p60fps, do you think WiiU is closer to being a mere 2x stronger than PS360? And how much stronger do you suspect the forthcoming PS720 will be?

cheers mate!

While it sucks BLOPS2 has hinted native 1080p60fps and then confirmed to not be... I still think all of that has a lot more to do with 3rd parties not wanting to put in a bunch of extra cost for a game that will undoubtebly have its lowest sales on a console with a current base of zero.

It will be a bit before a port from PS360 really takes advantage of WiiU hardware, if ever. More than likely we'll have to wait for nextGen to move into full force to really see WiiU's difference. Maybe just until the Retro game comes out or one of the now known nextGen titles are confirmed as multiplat and on WiiU as well. (I'm looking at you Watch Dogs)

I still think its closer to 4x at the moment. I can of course be wrong and I'm basing it off of the OP at this moment. When Wii U launches and its actually tore apart and measured more accurately, we will know. Good news is that's less than two months away.

Considering that Mario was reported to be 720p too.....I'm gonna say that it has more to do with the Wii U (nderpowered) living up to it's moniker.

It's only  Next Gen by mere coincidental technicality.....basically.
