Well, they originally said RT model would be priced similar to other "ARM based tablets"... and it is at $499. Well its at the top of that price range.
Then they said the Pro model would be priced similar to "Intel Ultra-class laptops". It it is also priced near the higher price point of that category, I'd expect it to be over $800 up to $1000. Which is too much for me.
I said originally the Pro needs to be less than $800 for me to consider it. I really like its design and offering, but I can't justify more than $800 and I really think it will come out that way. I'm hopeful that they will try to cut it and maybe even subsidize it somehow, but $800 is really pushing it.
