Things are too muggy to see right now. Gaikai could be helpful and might do what OnLive couldn't or OnLive could be an illustration of what's to come.

I think we'll all know in about a year whether or not this was a good choice by Sony or if it'll go into the Blunder section. With the partnerships that Gaikai has managed, I think it'll do reasonably, if Sony can get people interested in the idea of streamed gaming. But that's been the big question since OnLive and Gaikai came into existence.

Gaikai was a privately held company, so it's impossible to tell what kind of revenues they were actually pulling in, since they don't have to report anything. So, time is the only gauge.
