An animal can die from getting fat too. But they usually don't get that chance, because they die off sooner. Or lack of food. And if humans ate food off the floor, rubbed their food in our own feces, like animals. We'd evolve to coup with those things. Just like animals did. Animals would be all dead if they didn't build up immunities from rotten food and things they naturally do. They don't have thumbs or hands to make a fire or cook stuff.
Would you complain if someone was able to create a Star Trek Replicator. Or figure out how to grow animals. But only their muscle tissue?
