Vegetarians or vegans are usually the ones that need to defend their lifestyle beceause "carnivores" cant mind their own business.
I have never ever seen any vegetarian or vegan that aproaches other peole and tries to convince them to stop eating meat. Its usually the other way around if a "normal" person finds out someone else is vegan vegetarian etc.

I have met enough vegetarians to know that they at least as much as meat eaters try to force their way of life onto other people.

But only when you confront them with WHY ARE YOU VEGETARIAN? Thats what I say. I mean not that gay and being vegetarian is anything alike but you see people saying WHY ARE YOU GAY? ETC. and then you see people say WHY ARE YOU VEGETARIAN? I have never ever seen gay people trying to convince "normal" people to go gay.
Everything that is not "mainstream" is being questioned. Thats why its a simple fact that "normals" are the preachy ones.
And I am not talking about activists I am talking about the average joe.
