Thing is, Insomniac did something different - something completely different, returning to their Disruptor roots, with Resistance.  And it missed as much as it hit in my opinion.  It was by no means a bad FPS series - and I certainly preferred it to Killzone - but it was definitely nothing special in the grand scheme of things.  

I don't mind them doing a TPS - in fact I quite like the genre.  I just don't see why they have to stick it with some serious theme when their own speciality is great humour, which is something desperately lacking in that particular genre.

(And besides, that whole afro thing, what difference does it make?  Except for competitive play, it's not going to make the blindest bit of difference in single player or co-op mode)

yea i loved resistance, but our thoughts on KZ are a bit different. i'm sure they could have ajusted the gameplay to make the afro work. here's to hoping they'll go back to thier fun loving nature, but i welcome this, and hope it comes out great and changes minds.

 

@Xxain - i'm not sure i agree. i think R&C is way better then Spyro, but that's just me. i think Insomniac are taking aa chance in a new derection while being themselves. Resistance2, took it self to seriously. how ya been?
