What trends are those?

Not just the trend of Xbox's growth in EUR, but about how in GENERAL, the US sets the trends, and the Euros follow.  Aside from Soccer vs. NFL, every one knows Europe follows American culture, so we won't even debate that fact.  

The only place where they won't follow the US trends, are territories that are known for being more "xenophobic", like Japan, who will never embrace Xbox. It won't matter however, and Sony from here on out is locked in 3rd place. MS will continue separating itself from Sony, because they have taken over the US.  That means more Americans will "wise up", and follow their friends, going with the more powerful Microsoft brand vs Sony's fledgling brand.  As this perception and trend increases, it will affect Europe, NO QUESTION about it.   buts Its only my (humble, worthless) opinion, & you all are free to disagree.
