Nobody said doomed. The article says Sony could lose the holiday sales war. They can still sell a decent amount and make profit, but would still lose to Nintendo and MS.

The ps3 has been the best selling home console mostly every week this year, why would this change?? Halo 4 will boost Microsoft and the Wii U obviously but it won't loose market share. That is bollox.  

January - October in 2010/2011 had the same setup, until November and december that is. All signs point to the exact same outcome as the last 2 years.

Yeah that is cool and all but they still won't loose market share to Microsoft or Nintendo. If it hasn't happened before, it won't happend again until next generation. This articles is shit.
