Being of Asian descent in a year of bout 90 people, with me being the closest we had to black in the whole of school it was bound to happen. The only instance where it actually happened was on a bus when some older kids threw a balloon filled with flour over me, I went mental and lashed out despite them being bigger and hit one round the face with my school bag, after that I suppose I earned their grudging respect and was left alone.
Of course there were cases of racial verbal abuse but I always gave more back, something like oh look it's chinky stan, with my response being well at least I am not failing school to live on dole like the rest of your scumbag family. Not showing emotion if he words hurt you definitely discouraged people a lot, just stating a comeback matter of factly really. I think people were discouraged or intimidated o actually attempt to bully me physically anymore.
