Please don't try to compare animal morality to human morality. Using that logic, people would be free to walk around naked, shit in public, kill others for stepping on our territory, etc.

The only reason we don't do those things,is because of the order of law,society are whatever you want to call it. Even,then those still happen from time to time if you think about it. You could argue that humans are just super intelligent animals. I personally think it's all a grey area and it all comes down to what you personally believe in. If they out-lawed people eating meat,then you'd have a different story.
