Seriously though, I think the topic is interesting because there's no consensus in the scientific community. Sense humans by nature are curious, it makes sense to wonder about this. Has there been studies of why a heterosexual man is attracted to females. Or is that just 'as it should be'?

when you stray from the norm you get interesting to pick apart and at.
But why isn't it equally interesting to lets say for the sake of it, study why a man would like a skinny woman.
I think it is more interesting to discuss why we have the ideal that 'this is the way it is supposed to be' other then try to ask 'what causes someone to not do as they are ment to' if you get what I'm saying.

The question "what causes homosexuality" makes it sound like it is a disese to some extent, dont you think? :)
