honestly all your points are simply limited by hardware, the controllers are 7 year old tech, so battery life cant be compared with a controller that is about to release. as with social gaming, sony has been doing that for years with ps home and psn, but the hardware (mostly limited RAM) prevents for more stuff to do, if anything its nintendo who learned from MS and sony with the WiiU than MS and Sony learning from nintendo. just wait for the next consoles to release then compare the consoles
