I play World of Warcraft and have been in the same guild for almost 5 years.
I take a break in gaming in general when I go to teach merit badges to boy scouts during the summer, since 2005.
So back when I was 19 the first conflict issue with my summer job and raiding came up. We were currently raiding Ulduar in 2009 and I told my guild leader the situation and she had no problem. I kept in touch with my guild via vent those 2 months. Soon one of our guildies started a joke that I go to this scout camp cause I sexual harassment these young boys.
Now most took it for a joke, some took it semi-seriously. Since I was ever present in vent while they raided I just denied it despite them making cracks at me with "little boy" jokes. The joke is still alive today 4 years later, a couple guildies on a daily basis make a "little boy" cracks and a majorit even the guild leader occasional does the same. It's funny when we get new guild mates who think its serious and get really confused.
