Unless you have a super small school... like less than 500 kids maybe smaller because my highschool had 800 and I had no clue what went on with what except with my group. But I agree I don't understand why she didn't have any friends. Maybe she had a hard time making friends (This is me. I talk to people but don't really like anyone who I talk to. I find a lot of people just down right pathetic or annoying). Another thing I can thing of is maybe she didn't have a sparkling personality and people genuinely didn't like her. Maybe she was a heinous bitch. Both of these are her fault to an extent. I wouldn't blame her for the first one and would say ride on annoying people aren't worth your time. But if it's the second one... then she deserved some harrassment. And I just thought of another reason which I would not say is her fault... Maybe her friends moved away. I really don't feel like I have any friends at this point in my life because all the people I would consider friends are scattered around the country at schools and stuff. |
I'm not in high school anymore, but my school was between 800-1200 every year. I live in a southern state though so people are very friendly where I live. It's a one of those places where you know most people in town. I know people tend to go in groups like skater, prep, jock, etc but I always found it easy to talk to whoever and even those super jerkish people had friends to talk to. The only time I would see people get picked on it was by people who are generally jerkish and unpopular picking on someone else, and when that happened, very often someone who was popular would stand up for the kid. Yeah people argued and bitched at each other but people always moved on and still had friends, even if it was just 1 or 2.
