With wealth comes food, shelter, clothing and all the other basic necessities of life (in massive abundance too). With your basic survival needs satisfied and no fear that that will never change, a person's scale of happiness should be at least halfway fulfilled (5/10). And then other things like education should really bump it up a few points imo.

Material wellbeing doesn't have a straight correlation with happiness.

A rich person can be an unhappy, miserable asshole and a poor person can be the happiest, most cheerful person on Earth.

Happiness is more about perception of what you have than about what you actually have. It's very subjective.

Yes, but if a person has enough wealth to satisfy their basic survival needs without read of that ever changing, in addition to things like opportunity for higher education (which opens the doors for a lot of possibilities in life), don't you think they should be at least halfway happy? I admit 7 was probably too high for some people.
