I'm reasonably certain it's a right of passage for writers on Internet tech sites:
"Write a 1000-word screed on why Nintendo is doomed. Be sure to ignore all prevailing facts, have an utter disregard for reality, and the company's actual financial position: Bonus points: make sure to mention how Nintendo should go 3rd party and put all its products on iOS and Android, even though only a fool would suggest such a move."
The good news is most tech writers on the net are about as business savvy as SONY's management, so they are totally up to this task.
