That game is a horrible buggy mess, and countless times I needed hard reset my console because it failed to load environments when I used a door. Considering is a trophy for doing the game with only 2 saves, almost no damage, lots and lots of killing needed, hardest action and riddle levels etc etc all at once...getting a failed to load screen is complete bullshit. Luckily on my ultimate playthrough for 10 stars when it happened, twice, it was within 10 minutes or so of one of the two saves each time. I heard SIlent Hill 3 was even worse, but played through that once so far and no issues at all.

Does this game even have a quit game option.

You can reset to title screen, but that does not work when the no environment bug happens, if you try and quit to XMB the PS3 does a hard reset.  Must be something to do with memory.

I know its a noob question but how do you reset to the title screen. I cant seem to find it.

 

And I know this is a off-topix question but are you excited for the new Silent hill movie XD
