Where were the singles in the first year of ps3 life? I'll answer that for you, there where none. Now it's the top selling console world wide. Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it's not there.

The dreamcast also showed some promise and look where it ended. The ps3 took 2-3 years to be a worthy console if the vita is going that route then there's is no reason to get one right now. I doubt historical evidence will be applied so easily now tough. If cant see or prove the existance of something then i have no reason to belive it's there, if i do i might be delusional.

You also have to consider how many times Sega failed be for finally getting out after the dream cast. Sony has yet to cut a gaming system short. I don't see them starting with one of the best handhelds ever made. Sorry, there's just to many games coming out for the rest of the year, plus a price cut some time in 13, PSM and Gaikai, It will do fine. If you cant see the silver lining its because you're looking with your eyes closed. You get one now to show support, if every one played the wait and see game, no system would survive.
