OT: As I always said: No.

lol lol lol

You said it should not exceed 6 million.

GT5 today is the best selling GT in Europe ever... the sales are better than GT4... the unique GT to sell better than GT5 was GT3 due the massive bundle in US.

Ethomaz, as I said to you before my prediction can easily be found on GT5's page, I predicted 8.0M to 8.5M and even said it could reached 9 million. I really don't think it's a bad prediction. On the other hand you predicted 15 million: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=3760776

Now who is laughing?

Exactly what I expected. The game should sell 6-7 million LTD like I predicted.

Yeah, I was spot on what the game sold in its first days of sales. Again, the 6M-7M prediction was obviously without taking account of all bundles and tons of new editions that easily added a 2 million units to the LT sales. That said, it was not that bad for a prediction made two days after the game launch, at least way more realistic than 15M predictions!

Anyway that's the reason why I stopped commenting on GT5 sales: you can praise the sales all you want while never put them into context and predict some unrealisticly high numbers without problems but as soon as you bring some good points showing the sales are not that impressive some people here will automatically turn into denial mode and throw some ''lol lol lol'' comments.

The reality is that GT used to be one of the best selling franchise of the industry and now it struggle to reach 9 or 10 million. I'm not saying these numbers are bad, but they are just not as impressive as they were back in the days. Meantime a lot of franchises have expanded and reached higher figures (Mario Kart, Halo, Super Smash Bros., Call of Duty, Super Mario, etc.) while GT went down or at least did not expand as it should with all Sony's efforts (bundles, price cuts, new editions, advertising, etc.) and with the industry's expansion.
