Agree with most, I went mainly PC this generation. Heres 2 more.
Digital: Every company wants to shift to digital so now you can not get a return on the games that you own, thus making it even more expensive of a buy
High tech HW: This isn't really anyone's fault except societies, but with stronger HW it will become more expensive and harder for independant studios to take off. Thus we will be left with huge companies and get lots of sequels rather then new ips.
