Well, there is a petition for twitter that has almost 2k signs. I signed it, hopefully more people will sign and MS/EA realize their mistakes. Wish for the best.
And the worse part? I actually love MS. Same can't be said for EA though. Still, its a terrible business decision for both PR and for sales. Seriously, Microsoft has been making some bad business decisions in the past year or two
