The thing is, many of those JRPG IP's like Breath of Fire are dead in the water at the moment.

Suikoden; Grandia; Legend of Legaia; Dark Cloud etc.  

Even my beloved Wild ARMs, best JRPG ever, has been awol since an ill-fated SRPG on the PSP.  

Fact is, there just isn't really the market for these kind of mid-tier JRPG's anymore.  Maybe one day in the future we'll get smaller downloadable versions - or perhaps they'll resurge on handhelds, but it's not looking good for the time being.
