Most of the full priced games are either not the complete version (GOTY w/ all DLCs) and also they are usually old 2-3 yrs. So if you dont have those games by now u probably did not plan to buy in the first place, so i dont think it hurt sales.
PSN discounted games, yah u were not going to buy them in the first place if you did not have PSN+, everyone with PSN + ended up spending more money than before they got PSN +.
So it is a good idea for 2 reasons
1. Total amount of money u spend on PSN + is more than someone who do not have PSN+ bc u dont want to let a good deal slide eventhough u were only moderately interested in a game.
2. You gave Sony 50 dollar that u would not have otherwise, so they kept ur 50 bucks for a year and they ahve that money to invest.
