Man everyvbody is attacking DMmeisterJ for asking a question, he never stated anything as a fact, i think the case of DMC 4 is interesting 'cause it really is an anomaly untill now, but maybe it is because the game is really good :D, and japanese guys were waiting for a really good PS3 that appeals to them ( PS3 has many god games, but the ones argeted to japanese people haven't been too good in my opinion :P )
