Went to Comic-con they had Wii U, first thing i played was Tekken Tag 2, the controller took me about ten seconds to get used to and i was whipping ass with Kazuya in no time. Surprised how light the conroller actually was. They had the costumes Kazuya in Link clothers etc. THey had the mushrooms, yellow makes you big, purple makes you smaller, star makes you invincible, it was all silly fun. THe demo was rough, and i mean rough, the Tag element was not implemented and the touch screen stuff wasnt there either, they said they still need to work out the kinks, which is fine because IMHO it would be a spineless way to fight anyway and looking down at the screen to know what move you are doing...might as well just do the move. I saw a glimpse of the game running on the Wii U pad(victory screen) and it looked great, id dare say PSvita quality. Visually the game doesnt look better than the other versions, but I say again this is a demo. All in all its Tekken on the Wii U with no compromise, anyone that was worrying it would be a tekken 3ds screw up could rest easy.
Batman AC. This was a really rough demo, the enemies sometimes just stood in place and their was a loading screen for areas, the woman assured me that that would not be in the final version and considering the dev, i believe hear. The touch screen functions was on display and it was what one would expect, the armor function added more combos, which is kinda cool. THe game does look a little better, not the difference between COd on wii and COD on PS360, but their is a sort of sheen to it.
Mario Bros. Wii U. Its Mario but prettier, take that how you want. I wish i could comment on the Wii U pad funciton, but alas it was not shown at the show, just classic wiimotes
Didnt play NintyLand but IMHO it actually looked fun. I only saw the Link part though. Project 100 looked cool too. Didnt see AC3 for Wii u, but i did see a live demo for the game on PS3 and its pretty much what we've seen before. The sidequests do seem more seamless.
Speaking of AC, i did play Liberation and outside of a annoying raft section(think that part in Uncharted GA, hopefully it controls better in the final game) the game was good. Any fears that this would be another Bloodlines could be put to rest, pretty much AC on the go.
JD4 was on display for Kinect, its JD. There was a DB and Power Ranger game that both controller like crap, but they were kinda good looking.
Sony had GOW Ascencion MP, which is kinda fun, but still not sold on the game myself. PSASBR was demoed, looked alot like Smash, didnt play it line was long. Capcom had that Darkstalkers, passed on that. Sony actually did have quite a few Vita games on display, including Persona 4 which i wish i could play but didnt want to wait.
There was alot more games there but i didnt have time and the energy to wait around, but everything for the most part on Wii U side was looking pretty good.
