Lot's of folks have heard of Resonance of Fate but few have played it. Was it a good game? It was in fact amazing.
Here's why it didn't not take off:
it had some of the most complicated gameplay ever seen on an rpg and had NO mandatory tutorial ! So most people simply played the game and didn't know what the hell to do, so they returned the game after only some hours of gameplay.
True story.
