Uh, are you serious? The Wii spent its entire existence having negativity thrown at it--I think the Vita has some catching up to do...if it lives long enough<--intentional irony on that last bit

The Wii negativity was virtually no affect on its sales since the system was bought by the mainstream/casuals. More specifically, families.
No matter how much negatitvty the media threw at it, it didn't matter since soccer moms don't do their research. They see Nintendo, they see Mario, MUST BUY!
