You make the environmental explanation seem like it suggests specific definite factors. I think most would agree that its not like that. It's more the result of a combination of factors so complicated and delicate that we'll probably never be able to say for certain that "this factor causes homosexuality." And even we can say for certain that certain factors cause certain tendencies, its also likely that different people react differently to the same factors, thereby making the discovery of the exact causes pretty much impossible. So its not like there's a certain method that could prevent homosexuality.
