Holidays sales won't be that big imo. Only AC looks good and that will probably push some hardware. But all the other games won't, COD looks horrendous and not even having "Call of Duty" on the tittle will help those sells. Need for speed it's no longer a killer app, and being a remake of an old game it will do less than if it was a new entry in the series. Fifa 13 could help the sales in Europe, but that's pretty much it.

And aside for games their are other factors that will screw the system a little bit. The new PS3 model will be the obvious purchase for some gamers over the Vita, this could have been said if Sony's didn't announced a new model, but having a "new" model will overshadowed other systems (in this case Sony's own product). Like it or not the Wii U will most likely sell really well, since it's a new console (doesn't matter if you think it's next gen or not) it will overshadowed all the "old" consoles, including the Vita, specially since the Vita and PS3 cross-play haven't been a selling point.

I feel sorry for Sony but this Christmas will be really bad for the Vita, prove me wrong Sony...
