Did us PS+ subscribers help fund the new PSN Store redesign?

I doubt third parties get much money for their games available on PS+. 

Most of those games are very old.  Sony is not offering games that are still selling well at retail like UC3 or GT5.

In fact the majority of games available for PS+ subscribers are made by studios owned by Sony.
