It'll cost between 30.000 - 35.000 yen, which will be something like $/€349 - $/€399. Sony will be making a modest profit (at the very least) from the get go.

That's my thoughts regarding their financial situation.

It's certainly doable at that price. Sony just won't be making a modest profit, more like a massive loss on each system sold.

So basically: 6x the power of PS3 for 35k yen = losing money?

But as far as I understand it the WiiU is 3-4x the power of PS3 and making a profit at 26k yen...?
