Knowing Capcom and looking back at their history of supporting Nintendo, I'm sure Capcom is SURELY cooking something for the system other than MH:U (port of a wii game :S)
So only because its capcom, I'll say you may be right, but if it was Konami or EA on the other hand... :S

I dont know what alternate world you've been living in but fighting game releases on Ninty home consoles by Capcom have sporadic at best. the SNES was the only one that got a steady stream of support. I dont think there were any fighting games released on N64 by them at all. GC saw a late port of Cvs.SNK. Wii got Tvs.C thats about it.

Looking at it that way, true. But I was looking more at Capcom's recent support of Nintendo in general, wasn't talking about the fighting genre in general.
Theyr is 2 ways to look at this. 1) Look purely at the history of figthing games on Ninty's consoles and say that a new game announcement for Wii U is unlikely. Or B) look at Capcom's support of Ninty and say that the odds of them announcing a new game on Wii U are likely :)

im looking at it from the fighting game perspective, becaue we are...talking about a fighter here. Not RE, not MH. Yes they all fall under Capcom umbrella, but the people who make the fighters are not the same people who deal with MH. One doesnt really mean the other will get it. Im assuming Ono overseas the fighting section and i would imagine he would have alot of say and influence over where the fighting games go.
