Consoles are holding the PC back. Super high-end PC exclusives do not have a high-enough userbase to sell to in order to be profitable. If consoles were more powerful, then more powerful games would be made cross-platform on both the consoles and the PC, giving us PC gamers higher-end games. The PC can handle these games, but the current generation of consoles cannot, so the games simply aren't being made yet. Hence, consoles holding back the PC market. |
Au contraire, my friend.
I see you've fallen in the same false sentiment of most PC gamer attitudes.
You see, You, like them, have forgotten that the majority of PCs are WALMART'ish grade computers. These computers have to be programed and spec'd for from game developers as they are both needed & necessary to the ecology and economy of PC game development.
Guess what? Those low end PC's and laptops are less capable game machines than the current HD consoles....certainly not more.
You forgot to factor that in....and I reminded you. So, You're welcome.
Low end PC's hold the industry back....not consoles.
just sayin.
