Really bad guess. Here are the top 10 best selling games in the eshop in 2011 (This is from the Forecasting & Analyzing Digital Entertainment)

Xevious sold 47,900 units by the end of last year, so lets say the game it's currently at 55,000 that means NSMB 2 should be around 50k

That article is based off of revenue, not actual numbers (I know, I made the same mistake too). Though, I do agree my number is off and is probably half off what I predicted. But, who knows.
