See, the thing is, personally I agree with you. I didn't enjoy Killzone 2 and I definitely wouldn't put it in my top 10 games of this generation.
But that's just my opinion. If other people did enjoy it, and would put it as their favourite game of the generation, who am I to say "Actually, you're wrong!" It's their opinion, and they cannot be wrong with that.
You might not agree with it, but that doesn't mean you should just ignore it. Otherwise you're just going to have to find another way to quantify what the 'Top 10 games of the generation' are. You can judge it by sales, you can judge it by metascore, whatever you want. But if you're asking people to vote and they don't vote for what you agree with, you have no right to tell them that they're wrong or not count their votes.
