The thing is, Famitsu used to give out only one 40/40 per console. The last console to follow this strict rule was PS2 and the game that got the 40/40 was FFXII. Since the DS, they have changed their scoring policy. Now loads of games can get 40/40 on just one console. have you seen how much 40/40 games there have been in the last 4 years?
That's why I say that FFXII was the last game that really deserved the 40/40. It was the last game judged by Famitsu's harsh scoring policy.
