wow reading this post it is very obvious that most if not all the people on here know nothing about muslims, arabs and the middle east other than what the media has told them and the image that the media has painted about them.

first of all one of the issue's here is "Christianity is mocked all the time so why isnt it allowed for islam to be mocked" well first of all Christians are the ones mocking them self's, the USA is in fact a Christian country as well as most of the countries in Europe. and most of the media that insults Christianity comes from those countries. take a look at the media in the middle east and you wont see any thing that mocks Christianity (or mostly islam) for that matter. just because a popular show like southpark has no respect for any religion whether it is Islam, Christianity or any other religion for that matter means it is ok to mock, make fun and insult an entire religion. why Christians in the west havent criticized the media for the unbelievably amount of insults to Christianity is beyond me. every person has a right to have there own beliefs, faiths and opinions. but you shouldnt have the right to mock and insult millions of people's beliefs. a line should be drawn and people should have respect for one another.

The other issue here is the outrage that happened after the movie was uploaded, again here the media decided what to show and not show, what it did show is the tragic, unfortunate event that happened to the american ambassador. what happened there is in no way acceptable, not in any religion or believe and especially islam. the people who did that disgusting act to the ambassador are ignorant, stupid and in my opinion without a soul, heart or shred of dignity. they claim they have done it as what? a reaction to the movie? to protect "islam" i really doubt they know what islam is, they clearly know nothing about it, because if they did they never would have done it or even thought about it. in there actions they have not only hurt, the ambassador, his family, friends and the USA, they mostly hurt them selfs, their country and every other muslim as what they did is more of an insult to islam than the movie itself.

the other thing that is not shown is the reaction of muslims to the incident, social networks such as facebook were filled with criticism over the incident, how it was extremely stupid and most of all extremely unjust. most people were outraged by the people who committed the murder. honestly it was nonsense!!! why would they murder an innocent ambassador!!?! its honestly disgusting!! but back to my point, people were calling for the right course of action to be taken towards the movie and to stay away from controversy and mostly violence. they were asking for the movie to be pulled down and for legal action to be taken against the creator. they were asking for a civilized sensible solution and for that solution to be taken by right people. of course non of that was shown by the media.

for those who have no idea about muslims, arabs or the middle east i ask kindly to not post anything as your contribution is mostly likely just invalid and false, i remember reading a post on here who claimed "most of those people dont have access to the internet anyway" or something like that, that member clearly has understood the economical and industrial situation in these countries very wrong. every one has the right to voice there opinion of course and has the right to speak his or her mind, i asked for people who have little information about the subject to not post because there post might cause more harm than good as this is a very sensitive matter. thank you
