I liked FF13 it was a very good game. I can see why people don't like it and its nowhere near as amazing as FF9. But for all its faults I enjoyed it.
I never liked the original RE, but I enjoyed RE5 and Revelations was the best RE I've played, it was awesome!
So in my opinion both Square & Capcom aren't as good as they were, but they can still churn out amazing games like Revelations.
Maybe expectations have become impossibly high?
