mmm..ok I think hardcore gaming (HALO) is not a priority for smartphones, nor tablets. I think Halo is a franchise to complex to be developed for a cellphone without being compromised negatively while doing so. Considering that, I think that the directX support will be for more graphical apps, like "M$ MAPS" for example. I dont think M$ will be using google maps, because they would be supporting the competition. I dont think M$ will ever develop a Halo game for smarphones. maybe an app for the smartglass thing, but not a full Halo game. If they want to create games, they need games made having in mind the userbase; and those people dont like to spend more than $5 for a game. Those users want casual and cheap games. You can not have a true gaming experience on a phone nor tablet, due to how people interact with the device and which are the user´s interests. If they want Halo they would have bought a 360. |
Wow.
This is worrying. Do people really not know anything about Windows Phone? Have Microsoft really battled that hard for people to not have the first clue about Windows Phone?????????????
Microsoft have since WP7 arrived had in built into the Windows Phone OS Bing Maps. Bing Maps is considered impressive and just about on par wit google maps from many tests and reviews out there.
I'm shocked at how many people especially on this site dont know the first thing about tecnology like Windows Phone.
Hell it could build a free house for you, but sadly noone would know because its a windows phone.
Microsoft need to advertise and open there own stores Worldwide to stop the pathetic phone shop drones forcing Android and Iphone. The latter being behind for the last 2 years.
