JayWood2010 - there are two sides of one thing. MS know much better, how to sell games (remember that big advertisements about halo ? ) Sony on other hand is a value - in players hearts. What i want to say is, MS has been focused mainly on profit, while sony on games for players.. MS know, that it is better to make only some games (from their 1st party) and they know their audience .. on other hand Sony just try to cover all the genres.. which wasn't the best choise this generation from bussiness point. .. especially, when mobile phones step up..

And this is, why you are correct - from bussiness perspective. The question is - what`s better - to make games for one or two groups of people but with great sales, or to cover broad audience but many of the titles will be offradar and with loses at the end.

We will see it round 3 years i think..

At least you're replying with common sense.  Yes Sony takes more chances.  Sometimes they are successful and others they aren't.  Microsoft has migrated to kinect in the last few years so trying to capture a new market while making this generation longer.  They have played it smart mostly.  Next generation will be interesting with Nintendo trying to get more core games.  I consider Nintendo and Microsoft to be more a like because X360 has been a blend of core for the first 3-4 years, and then core/soft the last few.  I think microsoft will do something similar next gen with taking chances at the beginning of the generation but kinect has been a hit so obviously that's going to stay.  The Wii U in my opinion is also going for a similar core/soft blend like microsoft.  Release hardcore games yearly but also release many casuals as well.  Sony on the other hand kind of failed with the playstation move and are primarily after the hardcore market. It's hard to tell what's going to happen next gen but Sony needs to learn that making expensive hardware (PS3/Vite/Memory Card) will hurt them.  I think nintendo will do fine.  Microsoft has halo so once Halo5 comes out itll do fine too.  Sony just needs to make good decisions and they will do fine as well.

I appreciate you replying with common sense.  Really I do :)
