definately C.

I'd play a 2d sprite animated game, with broken gameplay if the story is good enough.

So you like FFVI then? (and I can say that because it's by far my favorite game even though the gameplay is bad)

Unfotunately I havent played it yet, I did plan on picking up the GB version for my DS.
which one would you recommend the ps1 version or the GB version?

right now im hooked on Phoenix Wright games...
thats how important the story in a game is to me

It's insane how much better the DS version is better than the PS version. Just do yourself a favor when you play, don't ready any spoilers or walkthroughs.

The gameboy version of VI is that good? I've heard alot of things about it (good things), but have yet to play it. I mean I have it, but yet to touch it. I'm some sort of freak!

Eh, it's good. The music suffer a little bit, though you get used to it.

The worst part is the new translation

SNES FFIV:(Guy calls Locke a thief)

LOCKE:Say that again and I'll rip your lungs out!

GBA FFIV

LOCKE: Now that's just rude!

See? Not the same if you've loved the original since it game out.Still a solid choice if you don't have the option of the original. Easily my favorite game of all time; one of the few games I can reply over and over and still enjoy.

Actually, I thought the GBA version was different because it has the right translations. I know at least the enemy names are correct and I could have swore the dialogue was all fixed.

True, the nomenclature for the enemies/spells/inventories is better, but the new translation dumbs-down the original in a lot of parts. There's also a decent amount of mistakes they forgot to fix. (Can't think of any off the top of my head, but I know I'll think of them sooner or later.)
